POD 3: Planetary Health
Covid-19 also revealed fragility and interdependencies in our globalized world that are all-too-relevant to our climate crisis. An optimistic view is that the intense concern for lives and livelihoods over the past year will translate into a reset on planetary health and its relationship to human health. What skills, knowledge and worldviews will help students navigate the business and ecological contexts of the future? How can we help students be agile and resilient—or are we all agile and resilient enough? And in teaching about climate, how can we balance hope and despair?
